The best part about living in a flyover state is the fact that so much cool stuff is flying over!

At the Iowa Forge, we've been turning our focus to flyover stuff way way above us, in space! There are a lot of neat things up there, and many of them are transmitting data that anyone can receive and check out.

As part of this talk, I'll talk about

1) How to track satellites
2) How to listen to satellites (RTL-SDR, homebrew antennas, etc.)
3) Our experiments around receiving and decoding NOAA weather satellite images
4) Our experiments around receiving and decoding Outernet satellite content
